Dr. Udipta Ray is a general surgeon with 25 years of expertise performing GI surgery. He is a trained Da Vinci Robotic Surgeon and one of the most renowned hernia surgeons in the city. Dr. Ray earned his MS in 1991 and was awarded a fellowship by the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons in 1991. He has extensive experience performing liver, colorectal, hernia repair, GI/HPB, intestinal, gallbladder, and abdominal procedures. He is also a certified laparoscopic surgeon from 22 years and has co-authored a number of research publications on various topics of gastrointestinal surgery.
