About Doctor

Dr. Prashant Kumar Roy serves as an Associate Consultant within the Gastroenterology Department. He obtained his MBBS degree from Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital, AKU, Darbhanga, Bihar, between 2007 and 2013. Following this, he pursued an MD in General Medicine at Patna Medical College and Hospital, AKU, Patna, from 2014 to 2017. Dr. Roy furthered his specialization in Gastroenterology by completing Dr.NB at Peerless Hospital and BK Roy Research Institute, Kolkata, WB, from 2020 to 2023. Prior to his current role, he held the position of Senior Resident in General Medicine at AIIMS, Patna, from 2017 to 2019. Dr. Roy’s areas of expertise include Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Pancreaticobiliary diseases, Liver diseases, Neurogastro Motility Disorder, and other gastrointestinal conditions.
